I am having trouble with sending email with 4 MB or higher size.
I am getting "The Operation time out" as Exception message on smtpclient.Send function call. We have a form where user can upload 4 MB + file and we need to email that to client. For this I already up the requestMaximumlength and also the Processing Timeout limits to 10 MB and 1000 seconds.
Also I set the smtpclient time out to 300 seconds. I am using SMTP email server from our hosting provider and providing required credentials.
the point to note is that when I configure Outlook with same SMTP inform I am able to send 4-5 MB file without any error, but when I try same file with my ASP.NET form it give Timeout error.
Any idea ?
