Hello forum goers,
I am in the middle of developing a website, I have laid out all of the sections of the page with div's.
Too seperate some of the divs I have made "Buffer" divs (width:100% and height:1px)
I have a button that when clicked, will validate the controls by hand(no use of asp.net validators) display in a javascript alert window the fields which are missing and the re-display the page. The issue is that once the "Validation" alert has been thrown, the "Buffer" div's are made grealty taller, this breaks the "Look" of the page and make it very ugly. I have a button on the form which doesn't do anything. When I click this button the formatting is put back to where it was.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
