I have a rather odd issue that I thought would be easy to fix but has turned into a nightmare.

Our Intranet is in a transition period (from asp classic to .NET).  I am not using any of the Membership classes of .NET, I am only checking for the presence of a security cookie that is set via a classic ASP login page.  Users are able to browse the site with no problems, but when they attempt to upload a file via the FileUpload class, it is bringing up a windows login prompt.

I have the authentication mode set to "None" in the web.config.

I have granted read and write permissions to the IUSR and ASPNET  accounts for the upload folder.
It seems to me the server is still trying to perform windows authentication for this folder.  I have no idea why it would do this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
