We have a customer that requires "ConfigurationPermission" to be allowed on the shared server that their site is hosted on.
I have had a look around about this class, and can only find that it allows methods or classes to access "configuration files" however, there is no idea as to what configuration files it allows.
For obvious security reasons, if this is only config files in their site's root, then this is not a problem to allow (the customer required unrestricted access). Alternatively, if this is for server wide config files, then they must not be able to access these.
Does anyone out there know which config files this allows, and wether it is safe to implement this on a shared server, with the following:
