I am using the custom profile provider which can be found on this site, I have this working on my machine which was in the download section. However when I add the classes to my project, follow the documentation and add the custom data to the profile properties, add the profile providers in the web.config, exactly set up as the test, it won't work. I keep getting an error saying "The settings property 'FirstName' was not found. " Basically any profile property throws this exception, this is really pulling my hair out at the moment and can't get it to work, I am also using ajax and have set the applicationame to "/" as explained in one of scott gu's articles. Thanks in advance.
