What is the best formula in a stored procedure to compare two dates and see if one is 10, 30, 60, days less

In a stored procedure, I want to compare dates that are stored in columns of a table against other dates and want to know the simplest way of seeing if one date is 10 days less, 30 days less, 60 days less than another date, etc.
