Creating windows form that binds a combobox to a database, inserts and deletes need example???

This is the first time work with C#.net and windows forms.  I need to create a application that simply inserts data provided from a textbox, bind the values of a column into a combobox and updates values within a database taken from the combobox.
 I saw some examples online however, they are using OleDBadaptor instead of SQLadaptor
