how to keep the textbox.Text after postback?

in my web form
have a TextBox, TextBox's Mode is password
and below TextBox have a dropdownlist
the TextBox.Text is disappear after the postback caused by dropdownlist selectedIndexChanged...
 how to keep the Text in TextBox?
