I am getting ready to develop an application for a company that has some interesting requirements. I could swear I read something about what I'm trying to do but I can't find it anywhere.
The company I'm working for has distributors that market their products. The company is wanting to provide a web-based application that the distributors can use to track inventory, employees, customers, etc. The idea would be that the company would set the distributor up with an instance of this management software and then the distributor would have administrative rights in that instance of the software only. The distributor could then grant permissions to their employees to do things by assigning them to a particular role.
