I have a few confusions. Hope you experts could clarify these.
I am building a page that will transmit direct payment details to paypal for processing. I know I need SSL certificate. But is that mandatory for an https conncetion? Apart from the URL, does something in the web application has to changed because of the secure connection?
Also is there any policy regarding storage credit card numbers in a database? The website owner wants the credit card numbers to be stored so that customer doesn't have to enter details again at the time of subscription renewal. What is the best way to store credit card details safely?
