formula to get the first multiple by 3

Hi all:
I need a formula to get the first next multiple by 3 of  number
The list is
last      limit
1          3
2         3
3        3
4        6
5        6
6        6
7        9
8       9
9       9
and so on
 
Can u put it in a formula?
