using asp.net/vb.net 2008
I have a field in a dataview that is a string (varchar(25) from a db table) stored like this:
November 2012
July 2012
and so on....
anyways, I need to do the following in this order, hope I can do it on one line.
1. Convert the string to a datetime field so i can...
2. Sort the field so the most recent mo/yr is on top (ASC)
however I still want the values to be in the dataview as mm/yyyy
how to do this?
