I have written an ASP.Net 2.0 application on our intranet web server, what it does is formatting some text file and send it over to a remote server.
I want only the certain people under a specific NT group to be able to do this, so I did the following configuration:
1. In IIS, unselect "Anonymous Access", select "Integrated Windows Authentication"
2. In web.config,
<authentication mode="Windows" />
<identity impersonate="true" />
3. On remote server, I granted the full contorl access to my specific NT group.
However, I still get access eror when I am using the application to send the file over to the remote server.
The I added my Lan Id and password to the <identity> in web.config , like the following:
