How to read all the values from the Database

Hi Guys,
I have a basic question.
Situation:
I have a CMS with records stored on the Database, there is a dropdown box with two options say option 1 and option2.
Based on option2, I need to display data on a page.
I want to know how I can do that? in .aspx or .cs files?
