Hi All,
I'm trying to address an issue with collapsed items still reacting to user input. I found that by switching the order of the elements in XAML, the control thats "on top" changes. This seems consistent with the grid behavior and it's children. The problem I'm having is that I am unable to change the order at run time (it seems). I created an extension method for a FrameworkElement item that removes itself from it's parents Children collection and re-add (hoping that IT now will be the last child in the list and appear above all others).. but it just doesn't seem to work. Inspecting the Children collection before and after the ".Remove(..)" and ".Add(..)" seem to indicate that the order was switched, but the UI still honors the original order.
Does anyone know how to switch the order of children in a grid programatically and have the UI reflect this change? Until the collapsed elements no longer responde or HIDE ...
