Hey I want to use cookies for a favorites for my users.
I have a client contact management system that I am writing. And here is the task that I am pondering how to do. I have a search page that searched the DB for clients based on search criterias filled out. But the client would like the last 15 entried look at in that computer to pop up on the gridview already. I am thinking about using cookies. Would this be doable.
What I need to store in the cookie is clientid (field in the db). I need to store 15 client ids. Read the 15 and fetch the initial gridview. Then on subsequest edit or view of clients I would need to read the cookie and "reset/overwrite" the cookie with the last 14 but with the client just checked now on top.
If anyone can point me in a good article or direction where multiple values can be read (I guess 1 per line) and how to parse through it and such would be greatly appreciated.
