Customized Dll in ASP.net

Hi,
i am creating a common dll which has a class call CommonDll .The coding is as below:

Public Class CommonDll Public Function geta() As String Try Return "a" Catch ex As Exception Throw ex End Try End Function EndClass
accessible by all the web application.
In ASP.net project , i goto bin folder and add the dll. The dll is added successfully and the project name  CommonForAll which contain the class has become namespace.Below is my coding in asp.net project.
Dim a As New CommonForAll.CommonDllMy problem is i fail to call out the function geta() and use it. But if i try with VB project, it is working fine .The function geta() is able to call out.
Does anyone has idea on this ??
