Hello:
I'm in the process of creating a Web-based project, that enables users, based on what roles they're assigned to, to enter data into a database, view said data, and generate a report based on that data.
I used the ASP.NET tutorial ("Security Basics and ASP.NET Support") that discusses Membership, Assigning Roles, the Membership schema, etc.
I was able to creata a login screen and create users to roles. I also made myself an Admin-type user
However, I noticed that when I wanted to view a screen that only I (as a "Adminitrator") can view and modify, the program thinks I'm not an Admin or Supervisor, but a regular user.
I can see the file list, but I can't modify. By the way, this list is viewable under the RoleBasedAuthorization table from the tutorial.
Matter of fact, I can't even view the Manage User or User Information tables from the Tutorial.
