I have a web.config file for the site. First in was encrypted using command like this:
aspnet_regiis.exe -pe "connectionStrings" -app "/" -site "111111" -prov "RSA_Provider"
Than it was decrypted:
aspnet_regiis.exe -pd "connectionStrings" -app "/" -site "111111"
Then I compared decrypted web.config with the original web.config in WinMerge. The order of keys in web.config were slightly different, also I have not found several comments - they were just deleted and the total formatting of sections was spoilted (tabs and blank lines and so on)
Is there any way to preserve the original formatting of web.config? Because it`s very bad readable after decrytion and sometimes I have to make changes to encrypted web.config
