SQL Server stack limit has been reached error when i execute SP_WHOISACTIVE

Hi All,
We have SQL Server 2012 Express edition and i created SP_WHOISACTIVE for performance monitoring. when i excecute this query the attached error came. But, when i execute the same query in SQL Server 2008 R2 express edition, there is no issue.kindly suggest me.
