I am building a paypal site that will have one item on it. I am using the api. As I understand it when sending information to there site it will be sent as plantext so it probably be wise for me to have SSL. However like most things there is like a million different versions and I am not sure which is better. Of course I am looking for the cheapest ones I can get but I would like to know why one costs more then another one.
I am also not even sure how to deploy SSL. At first I was looking at my hosting company that offers something called rapid SSL for 19.99/year. But now I am looking at namecheap and they got it for 12.89/year but they also have a deal going on where you can get a different one for free(reg 10/year) if you sign up or transfer your domain with them. I will be transfering my domain soon with them but I don't understand what is the difference between the 2.
Also this domain I am transfering does not need SSL another site that ...
