Is there any way to specify an absolute path in the href property of an "a" tag? I want to use a function to add a hyperlink to the text that is passed to it, such as the following:
<a href="~/MyFolder/MyStandardPage.aspx">My text</a>
I want to be able to use the function on text that is in a variety of folders around my site, yet I want it to link to the same ASPX page for all of them. The "~" nomenclature seems to only work on ASP hyperlink controls.
