Heres the thing- I have built a log-in app using membership and roles.
In the Admin I want to assign a database to a registered member using a dropdown list.
The list will show all the sql .mdf files in the Data folder on the server machines C Drive there could be 50 databases.
I have used FSO in the past with some success, but browsing outside the Web Root into the C drive seems to be a problem.
I have set up a Virtual directory in the Site Root and when I "Add to Project" all the files in the Data Folder are shown
in the project but I have failed to databind to a Dropdown List or Grid.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as I dont know if Im heading into a security problem,
whats the correct way to do this??
