Multiple Profiles in a Web Application

Hi,

Im using VS2008 Web Application and am trying to implement profiles as per

Is it possible to create a Profile for each Role. For instance the administrator users have specific data which would be good to serialize in the Profile.

So I was wondering if the above link was the "up to date" solution and whether I could somehow create an Interface to ProfileBase so that it would return me a specific profile depending on the role.
