Hi,
Is it possible to create a custom membership provider without using a username/password in the traditional sense? I want to be able to use "Forms" authentication, and take advantage of denying users on a per-directory basis (via web.configs), but I don't need a username/password to be entered, as this information will be pulled from client certificates.
So is it possible to use "Forms" authentication like this? I noticed when creating a custom provider that you have to supply property values for password based configurations (which is N/A for what I need)?
Thoughts, suggestions?
