Custom Authentication Ticket with Data from a Database

I'm using, or at least trying, the Membership Provider. I have a table where storing additional user information: language, favorite store and StoreID (uniqueidentifier) so it can link to the aspnet_Users database build by the Membership Provider. So what I'm trying to do is in the code behind when they log in get the UserID from the membership provider, use that UserID to retrieve language and favorite store with a query from the database and put that information in a Authentication Ticket so that I might retrieve it later and use it for other query inside the website.
