I'm hoping there is an easy answer to my question but I've searched and searched the web and cannot find the right fit solution.
I have a .net app using web forms using vb.net and asp.
I have an external applicaiton that will launch first.
From that exernal app, i will launch a link to my web application which is a series of screens (more like a big survey).
When the external application launches the web app, it is trying to pass a command line parameter which is actually a systemID of the the record the web app is launched from. I need this ID so that I can store it in my new database so I can link the two db's together for future reporting.
I have not found a way to get the parameter that the external app is supposidly passing to show up in my web app. I've tried some code out there but it just gives me info on my web app program and what port it's using from my local PC. Nothing ...
