How can I update a userName?

Hello,
I am developping a page named (MyProfile.aspx) where I would like to update the information of a logged user. For the moment, the only information that I am trying to update is UserName (Which is in my case an Email). The pb is that the membershipuser has the property userName which is readOnly. For this reason, I dont know how to make this update.
