 Hi there,
I have a nice VB.NET web application, and would like to know if the following is possible (or recommendable):
to keep track of all possible errors while users access my web, I'd like to keep a text file in my server, where I'd like to write that error message.
That file should be the same for all users browsing the page, and it should remain open through the entire web navigation (users will move between different sub-pages in my web).
So... my idea was to open a text file in the main page (in the main.aspx.vb code), and keep it open. Then if the user goes from main.aspx to otherpage.aspx, the file would still be open, I wouldn't have to open it again, and would still be able to write any possible error message.
Is that an acceptable idea? Are there better ways of doing this?
Many thanks for reading!
