Email Activation

       I am current learning ASP.net using Visual Studio 2005. I recently learned how to take advantage of the default membership controls using the drag n? drop controls such as CreateUserWizard, Login, and logout. I even learn how to change Min Required Password Length and some other information in web.config and machine.config file.
       I now want to require that all new user must first verify email before the account will be created. I found a solution in one of the forums that describes how to implement such a solution. 
       The Solution:  Had me create a new separate table in ASPNETDB.mdf database to hold the potential new user information such as UserName, Password, Email, Random Activation Number, IsVerified, SubmittalTime and any additional information that might be need to create the account.  I would than send the new user a email with a link that ha ...
