Hi I am a dotnet newbee....
I am wanting to write a function which i can use to pass values from one page to another.
Can anyone help me with this and also give me some clues as to where to put the function, is it in the default.aspx or on the results page?
Basically
I am wanting to use this function to pass values between user controls
which are on one web page, the page is named "EditModule" and contains
the following UserControls:
BasicModuleInformation.ascx
SupportModuleLeaders.ascx
SupportModuleStudents.ascx
SupportModuleLeaders & Students BOTH contain a UserControl Named "ObjectPicker"
The value I am wanting to store is within BasicModuleInformation -> "dropSchoolDept"
I am wanting to pass this value to the Object Picker -> "dropDept"
I have tried to use a session but because the page has AJAX controls on it, the session data gets lost. < ...
