Using Built-In Membership and Role providers with SQL Server database (created using aspnet_regsql.exe utility).
Upto Authentication part of my application ASP.NET Membership
provider served best. I have read articles and seen videos produced by
ASP.NET team at www.asp.net/learn/videos , www.asp.net/learn/security-videos and www.asp.net/learn/security
so far so good.
Question on Authorization:
I have 6 roles in my application where each role has got unique authorization rule. Using Role provider I
may place specific web pages into a folder and restrict access to
specific Roles using Web.config settings <deny roles="Users">.
