Drop Down List in Formview Insert

Hello,

I am trying to set some code to fire after a DDL is amended in a Form View Insert Item template. The general idea is:

While inserting an order, if the customer chooses a pickup rather than home delivery from a delivery DDL then the Delivery fields below are disabled so they can't be updated. On a DDL Selected Index Changed:

DDLDeliveryType_SelectedIndexChanged

If DDLDeliveryType = "Pickup" Then

DeliveryDate.enabled = False

End If

This is a simplified example. What I'd like to know is firstly is this the best way to achieve limiting what the user can insert depending on what they choose from DDL's and if it is, how do I code it?
