It seems that in my masterpage based project that MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback is enabled by default. Or at least I'm not sure where I turned it on at. I searched the entire project for "MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback" and cannot find any occurrence of it specifically being set to true. I don't mind it being on for the majority of my pages, but for one I really do want it turned of. I tried putting MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback="false" in my page directive of the page but it has no effect.
To further test, in my masterpage under the page_load event I put a Dim b as Boolean = me.MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback and it does show it as being false.
How the heck do I turn it off when the page directive has no effect?
