Need to validate the phone number in asp.net using c#!!

I need to validate or match the phone number that is entered in text box of a web form to this pattern  "(xxx) xxx-xxxx" using c# in  the code behind .cs.

(I do not want to use the RegularExpressionValidator )

anyone has any quick sample code or idea?
