Fileupload ? "filesize" should not be more than 1 MB and "file transfer" should be displayed like line or filesize ?

Firstly File size should not be more than 1 MB. How can i do this ? I have below code for this but it doesnt work and some lines have underline
Secondly File transfer should be displayed as line or file size.. How can i do this ? Can u give me a example as code ?
