Hi I have a very limited experience with asp.net, learning mostly from tutorials on here, so apologies if i am not too clear here with my problem.
I have used the membership system to create users. I have a control to add users, and i have added a dropdown list to enter a users district, which is saved to the profile table.
i am wanting to create a manager users page, which will display users in each district, and the district will be selected from a dropdownlist, which reads the districts from the profile table.
Using a gridview and objectdatasource, i have managed to display all users in the system using system.web.security.membership as my business object and GetAllUsers for my select method (got that from a helpful tutorial on here). Can i modify the select method to include the dropdownlist as a parameter to select only users by district. I am unsure if i can make changes to system.web.security.membership or need to create a new class or business o ...
