I'm having trouble hooking up a SilverLight application to my .net 3.5 WCF webservice. I found many threads with this same error message but none of the solutions seem to resolve the problem I am having. The error I'm getting is:
System.ServiceModel.ProtocolException: The remote server returned an unexpected response: (404) Not Found.
Using Fiddler I can see that the clientAccessPolicy.xml is being download and a call is being made to the webservice so I'm sure its not the cross domain issue, but I am still getting the a 404 exception. By using Fiddler I can see the request being made and logs on the webservice machine show it does make it but it appears that the Soap message is missing some data. Fiddler shows this as the being the soap message:
