I'm looking for ideas of how I can accomplish this:
I have a button that when clicked will fire off 5-7 methods. As the method completes I want to populate a text box saying "such and such is done". I can't think of a way where when a user clicks the button it updates text box, fires off method, updates text, fires off next method. It all happens at once on the button postback, which is how I expected it to work.
I thought of using Session States so it new what method to fire off next then manually fireoff a postback, but have no clue how you could manually fire off a postback request....i was orginally thinking of having an invis button and fire off a click event but don't even know how that can be done. I can fire off the click method but that doesn't intiate a postback.
Each method can vary on how long it takes to complete....which is why I want this status to up.
Any ideas would be great!
