Need save button to wait untill everything is done then be enabled

I have a save btn (bntSave) on my page and a number of html editors. in my page load event the html editors are loaded from my database, it can sometimes take a couple of seconds. I want the save button to wait until the load of the editors is done then be enabled.
What would be the best way to do this?
