Most or  all logon paid subscription web services know that when a paid subscriber starts there service, they can give there logon and password to others so that they can user the paid service for free. Thus diddling the provider of the service out of subs funds.

I have subs sites where it was obvious a single user, was more likely 20 users.

What are ways to hinder this fraud ?

maybe some deterrents

1) Keep the computer name of last logon, so that only one logon at a time to the same computer

2) More that 3 logons in an hour, reset password

3) More that 3 logons in a 15 minute period ask for a GIF word security check (like http://recaptcha.net/index.html)

4) Charge per logon, 0.25 cents, after monthly subs fee is used (Ie month fee is $20, then thats the first 80 logons with no extra charge, after that 0.25c per logon on).

5) legal

 Any ideas...what d ...
