Error while creating user and Status object

Hi all
I faced a problem with an app i am working on these days.
when i tried to create a new user
Membership.CreateUser(UserName, Password, Email, String.Empty, String.Empty, false, out Status); it failed because the secret question and answer are invalid as they are empty string.though i disabled this feature,but i wanted to get advantage of using the MembershipCreateStatus object,to provide the user with detailed description of any error occur while registeration.but the overloaded methods of CreatUser method which have the MembershipCreateStatus object require the secret question and answer.   Any ideas on how can i use the MembershipCreateStatus object seperately (not within the built in methods which require the question and answer)??   Thanks in advance   Khaled ...
