How To Correctly referrence the Path of Images and CSS files when Url Rewriting is done

 Hi Friends,
  I am opening this post as a continuation of
http://forums.asp.net/t/1493872.aspx.    We were not able to come to a solid conclusion about how we can overcome the issue of Images and CSS not loaded properly, when URL Rewriting is done using URL Rewriter.Net
These were the suggession that came up.
1. include this url rewriter section at the top of the rewriter section:                 <rewrite url="^(/.*(\.gif|\.png|\.jpg|\.ico|\.pdf|\.css|\.js|\.axd|\.asmx|\.swf)(\?.*)?)$" to="$1" processing="stop"/>
But it did not help.(Stll image & CSS is not loading...)
