Hello everyone,
I have a gridview which gets updated when something is typed in a textbox(using OntextChanged event). The problem is that when the user wants to type in for example "abc", the gridview gets updated right after "a" is typed (in fact, right after the text is changed). I don't want this to happen because if the user wants to type in the entire word of "abc", he has to wait for the gridview to get updated after each charachter is typed and then type the next charachter.
So what I need to do is to delay the OntextChanged event for like 1 second so that the gridview updates only if the user stops typing for more than 1 second.
I'm still a biginner, so I appreciate it if someone can help me out with some sample code regarding this matter.
