I have a web application project that has some global resource files in App_GlobalResources. Now in a separate class library project I have a piece of code that retrieves certain information from an add-on module (which is a separate entity of the web project until deployed).
The add-on is deployed on the website and during this deployment some resources from the add-on are deployed in the App_GlobalResources directory. It is not in an App_LocalResource because the add-on does not know what is the name of the page where it will be hosted at runtime. For that reason it makes use of App_Global.
Now, a class library project has code to retrieve information provided by the add-on and it would retrieve the localization information from the global resource that was deployed with the add-on (so that is known, the name of the global resource file).
I have been trying to use GetGlobalResourceObject() in this context without success, I can't find any reference to it in ...
