Retrieve querystring value

Hello,
I need to retreive a url from a querystring value.  The problem is that the url I need to retrieve sometimes has its own querystring variables and it is only retrieving the url up to the first '&' character.  How can i fix this without making my users encode the '&' characters in the url.
