Check user is authorised for page before redirecting

 Hi..
Is there any way to check the user is authorised for particular page before redirecting user to that page?
currently in my site user can have more than one role and different home page for roles.
when user logout from authorized  page it inclues "ReturnUrl" in url of login page. after login using other user name with different role. it goes in infinite redirection from login page to page in "returnUrl" and page in "returnUrl"to login page.right now i am removing ReturnUrl from if login page url contains it.
but i want that if user is authorized for page in "ReturnUrl". then he will be redirected to that page otherwise on home page.
in my site pages are scattered measn i can't check for particular folder name or sometype of page name so in "LoggingIn" event of login control i can check some pattern.
