I have two drop-down lists(dropdown1 and dropdown2) defined in two different .ascx files. I am populating dropdown2 values in OnSelectedIndexChanged event of dropdown1. I have set dropdown1's AutoPostBack to true.
What happens is whenever I change values in dropdown1 the whole page is getting refreshed. How can I avoid this page refresh?
The values for dropdown2 are populated from database so I dont think I can use javascript. I tried keeping these dropdowns in updatepanel but its not working. May be because there are in two diffrent .ascx files. Is there any way to avoid whole page refresh
with the above implementation.
Any ideas/suggestions? Please help.
