I have a dev database with memberships and roles created in SqlServer 2005 developer. Now I need to deploy the said database with an ASP.NET 2.0 web site to a remote web server where no production SqlServer license is available. Can I create an App_Data folder in the dev web site, detach the said database mdf/log, place the mdf/log in the App_Data folder, and publish the site as with a SqlExpress datbase? Please advise.
