I want to apply a 301 redirect on my windows application, so that if a user types in browser domain.com, it automatically redirects to www.domain.com, I know of some ways to perform this task in PHP, but have no idea about how to do it in ASP.NET. Please if someone could help. I dont have access to IIS. I have tried to put a simple 301 redirect
private void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
{
Response.Status = "301 Moved Permanently";
Response.AddHeader("Location","http://www.newpage.com");
}
but it resulted in error because it had created an infinite loop. Please help.
